Reviews: Machu Picchu Day Trip from Cusco

The whole organization went perfectly, everyone was on time, and they walked me by the hand everywhere. In the end, I had a guide just for me, which was a nice bonus. I highly recommend it.
Reviews: Excursión to Humantay Lake Full Day from Cusco
Guest User2024-09-13
Booked a full day tour to Lake Humantay with Chullos Travel Peru as a female solo traveler from the United States. Tour guide (Nilto) was very great. He explained the history of the lake and speaks both in spanish and english. Transportation was clean. Breakfast and lunch was included in the full day tour. Would recommend booking with this tour company if you are traveling alone to Peru.

Recommend rainbow mountain - even with kids Tour was great. Went to rainbow mountain with kids, 10yo and 9yo girls. They're accustomed to long hikes but the altitude made a bit of a difference on this one. Wally as a tour guide was great. Was really positive and encouraged us to go to the top while still at our own pace. We did what he said and we were definitely glad we didn't wait in line in the 2 picture spots as there were lots of great picture spots that were better. We chatted and he shared some of where he was from, about the region, etc. Was really interesting! breakfast before and lunch after. My daughter wasn't feeling well and she stayed up with him for the drive back (long drives and unfinished roads - but don't let that deter you!). She stated (without being asked) that he took really good care of her, kept checking in make she okay, and was all round great. There were horse offerings to go up that sounded to be reasonable (10 or 15usd? Can't recall). There's water to be bought on the way up if you don't have enough. Overall great trip. Thanks, wally!
Reviews: Rainbow Mountain In Quad Bike
Guest User2025-10-05
Excellent trip and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Peru! After a 4 a.m. hotel pickup, we drove about three hours to a stop where we enjoyed a tasty buffet-style breakfast. From there, we geared up, got a quick but clear briefing from our friendly guides on how to operate the quads and hit the road. The ride through the beautiful Andean scenery was absolutely unforgettable. After about an hour, we parked the quads and switched to motorbikes, which took us most of the way up the mountain. A short hike later, we reached the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint — and wow, what a sight! We had plenty of time to take photos and even hike higher for different angles of the colorful landscape. Even though we arrived early, the place was already lively, but our guides managed everything smoothly and made sure everyone had a great experience. After exploring, we hiked back to the parking lot, rode the quads down, ate a tasty lunch, and then enjoyed a drive back to Cusco. Overall, it was a long day but an amazing adventure — fun, well-organized, and led by excellent guides. Highly recommended!
