The excursion was even better than we expected. It started early, which was a good thing, as we had better visibility of the view from Mount Etna, perfect for photos and the hike. Our guide, Santi, was very helpful and friendly, driving smoothly the whole time and sharing some interesting facts along the way. The walk through the snow was great, and we were certainly lucky to have received a message from Santi the day before reminding us to bring spare socks, as our feet got completely wet. On the way back to Catania, we went for a tasting of local products, which was really nice. I think we made the best choice for this excursion, thank you!

Great day! Guide Andrea was very friendly and personable. He shared many details about Mt Etna and life in Sicily. Very interesting to see lava fields and snow on Mt Etna. There was lots of fog so we didn’t get a view of the valley but we still had a great time. The Lava cave was rugged and our teens loved it! Highly recommend.

A very pleasant trip to the Etna refuge. The audio guide on the bus is available in Polish, among other languages, and everyone receives disposable headphones. There are 3 hours of free time on-site, where you can hike to nearby craters or take the red trail along the ski lift to a spot where you can see the summit and enjoy stunning views. In winter, the hike takes 1.5 hours, and good physical condition is required on snow.


