Reviews: Bucharest to Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov Guided Tour

This tour is a must if you’re visiting Romania. Easy pick up and drop off. Yes it’s a long day but worth it. First stop was Peles Castle. Although it was closed we still got to see the beautiful castle and grounds. We then went to Brasov and had a wonder around before a fabulous meal. On our way to Bran Castle we went past Nevermore Academy where Wednesday was filmed. Bran Castle is small but set beautifully with great views.
Make sure you take some water and light refreshments with you.
We were lucky with the weather but there had been snow so parts were sloppy so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Our tour guide, Marius was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.★

We had a wonderful time. Bogdan, our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and accommodative. The highlight of the trip were the salt mines. It is a sight to see & the air is so healthy to breathe. I recommend the trip and Bogdan.★

If you want to see the the best of Bucharest in two hours then this is the best option. Our captain cum guide Robert showed us everything worth seeing with full explanation. It helped us a lot to plan our stay in Bucharest. Robert was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. At the end of tour he dropped us to our hotel. Since there are only two Tuk Tuk, advance reservation is highly recommended.★

After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!
