Compared to the hustle and bustle of Seoul and Jeju Island, Gangwon Province is much more charming and authentic, with very few tourists on the streets. We encountered many kind Koreans along the way who gave us directions, which was incredibly heartwarming. A special mention must be made of the driver arranged by Ctrip; he was incredibly helpful, recommending places to visit and where to find delicious and affordable barbecue. We had a fantastic time! I'd definitely come back to Gangwon Province this year if I have the chance!

Sylvia was excellent at explaining all about the area and giving tips upon arrival at the different destinations. You are on your own once you arrive. About 1 hour at the 2 main town.
