We had a really lovely time. While the tour in Alberobello wasn't feasible for us, that was probably more due to Google Maps than the tour itself. We managed to find our way around on our own. Our guide Pasquale in Matera was the highlight: very funny and reliable, he gave us our first taste of the city, which has definitely whetted our appetite for more. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely recommend this tour! Excellent guide who was friendly & provided great overview of local history. The grottos and turquoise water are beautiful. My recommendation is book tour before sunset - a really exceptional experience!

A great combination of places to visit. However, the driver was extremely fast; it wasn't always comfortable sitting in the back. He seemed stressed and nervous and was constantly pushing and shoving. The advantage was that we arrived at the places earlier than expected, had a bit more time, and were back earlier too. You don't need a guide; you can easily manage on your own. Therefore, a great deal!


