The Heritage Tram takes great care in organizing the excursion, staying in touch with you to optimize your experience. The journey to Sheki is very long and tiring, and the stops along the way are merely buffers that break up the journey. However, the Khan's Palace is truly an unmissable masterpiece, even if it's quite small.

I'm enchanted by the beauty of Azerbaijan, its history, and its landscapes. The trip exceeded my expectations. The views are breathtaking and reveal the most beautiful features of this magnificent country. My guide, Murad, is professional, very helpful, and friendly, and he exceeds all expectations. We took a full-day tour from Baku to Shahdag, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Sahil, was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. His warm smile alone showed how passionate and genuine he is about his work. Throughout the journey, he shared stories about Azerbaijan’s history and culture, making the trip both educational and enjoyable. Sahil also gave us honest and helpful recommendations about the must-do activities at Shahdag Resort and places to visit back in Azerbaijan. On the way, we stopped for a delicious homemade Azerbaijani lunch — the food was so flavorful! We also got to enjoy local tea and sweets, which are definitely a must-try for anyone visiting. The tour lasted around 11–12 hours, so remember to bring some water and snacks along the way. If you’re traveling in winter, make sure to pack warm jackets and proper boots, as it gets very cold in the mountains. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend taking this trip.
