▲ Toulie Islands are located in the Zhejiang-Fujian subsidence coastal zone, where billions of years of wave erosion have sculpted a rare cluster of sea-eroded landforms in China. The 3.5 km-long sheer cliffs of Banping Mountain, known as the "First Sea Screen of China," appear as if carved by knives and axes. Natural rock carvings like "Black Dragon Soaring Over the Sea" and "Peacock Spreading Its Tail" are vividly depicted on the cliffs. A boat tour around the island reveals 18 breathtaking wonders. At Xiandie Rock attraction, the Gulang Cave plunges 20 meters deep, roaring like thunder during high tides. The Sunlight Rock's Skylight Cave forms a rainbow light beam at noon, complementing stacked stone formations like "Guanyin Taming the Lion" and "Chinese Zodiac" to create a "Marine Bonsai Garden." Daju Island's Thousand Buddha Cliff is covered with honeycomb-like sea-eroded holes resembling a grand Buddhist assembly. Figurative reef rocks such as "Squirrel Stone Beam" and "Old Woman Combing Her Hair" bring to life an island version of the "Classic of Mountains and Seas."
