I am traveling solo in China for a month, and out of all the cities I visited, Turpan in Xinjiang became my absolute favorite—it was the cherry on top of this entire trip. It can be tiring waking up early for buses and trains, but it is always worth it because our driver, who was also the tour guide, was an amazing, respectful, and incredibly helpful man who made me appreciate Turpan’s culture even more. I felt so welcomed and comfortable even the entire team is Chinese. If you're a foreigner, just be prepared—police or security checks are very common, but it’s all normal procedure, and once everything is verified, they are surprisingly friendly. What truly made my experience special was my guide’s kindness and the way he represented the heart of Turpan; he’s also a wonderful photographer, and honestly, he deserves a raise for the joy he gives to tourists.

These attractions in Xinjiang are really worth visiting. The Flame Mountain Scenic Area completely brought me into the story of Journey to the West. Flame Mountain is so shocking. The little Guo who served us, he was really good, very punctual to pick us up, very attentive, very responsible. Three or four hours from Urumqi was really hard on him. If you follow the tour must choose this family

There's no forced spending, the pricing is fair and transparent, round-trip train tickets are all included, it's great value for money, the driver and guide are familiar with the area, point-to-point pick-up and drop-off, the service is reassuring and satisfying, the time is well-managed, and you can even see the sunset over the desert. It's a satisfying and wonderful day trip, recommended for people of all ages!
