This Shangri-La trip was absolutely worth it! A special thank you to Mr. Lu for taking me to Songzanlin Monastery early in the morning, perfectly avoiding the crowds and allowing me to capture so many beautiful scenes! Afterwards, we went to Pudacuo National Park, where the scenery of Shudu Lake was breathtaking. I've been to Napa Lake before, but Mr. Lu took me to the less-traveled Shika Snow Mountain, which was a delightful surprise! Thanks to Mr. Lu's professionalism, the entire trip was both hassle-free and fulfilling. I highly recommend him to anyone planning an in-depth tour of Shangri-La; choosing Mr. Lu will definitely make your trip extraordinary!

The time of departure is earlier than what was advertised. I was pick up at 05:50H. You need to download WeChat to be able to communicate to the Driver. I was able to meet younger Chinese who knows how to speak in English and we become friends 😁 They are the one who explain to me what was happening, also the Driver/tour guide will message you in WeChat to make sure you understand. There are extra payment if you wanted to ride horse going around.It was amazingly gorgeous experience. You’ll pay ¥150 yuan but it was worth the price. In leaping tiger gorge there’s an extra ¥70 yuan for elevator used but it’s optional. The itinerary is a bit different from what was advertised but it’s was worth the price & we ended the tour around 7pm. Lastly, listen to driver than trip com message. The trip state I’ll be pick up @6:30 but the driver stated 0550 at the pick up Point & he was there. Good thing I’m ready.The lunch was delicious & fun we dance 💃 Asa solo traveler this activityRecommended 💯

This was my first time taking elderly relatives to Lijiang and Shangri-La. The air was wonderful, and although the temperature was quite cold and dry, the days were warm with plenty of sunshine. A staff member from the tour company contacted me via WeChat and introduced us to our guide, Andy. He was very familiar with the local attractions and explained a lot about the history and culture in English. Before we left for Shangri-La, he reminded us about the possibility of altitude sickness and advised us to bring oxygen cylinders. He also took us to authentic, reasonably priced shops based on our needs. Andy was excellent at managing our time and communicating with us easily. He also took great care of the elderly, ensuring they got on and off the bus, maintaining the bus temperature, and driving smoothly. We had a very happy and satisfying trip.

Today, we chartered a private car for a day to visit Shangri-La, Napa Lake, Songzanlin Temple, and the ancient city. I was impressed by the driver, Mr. Zhao, who provided helpful advice on purchasing tickets to Songzanlin Temple and taking us to a delicious meal. He was also very patient. I'm very grateful for his excellent driving service and highly recommend it to everyone. We booked this tour through Trip.com. Although the driver didn't understand our communication, it didn't hinder us. We used Google Translate to communicate and enjoyed Shangri-La very much. We would love to visit the places we visited.

Highly recommended.💯 The service was smooth and easy. We were picked up from out front hotel at Shangri-La. We took a private tour of 3 people. Went to Balagezong up until the peak. Then stay overnight opposite Meili Snow Mountain. We are lucky we are able to catch the gold sunrise from Meili Snow Mountain. Mr. Stone our driver and guide - is very helpful, providing us information about culture, history and facts. Appreciate it so much. If you are going to Shangri-La please spend time to go to Balagezong and Meili Snow Mountain. Worth every penny. 😊
