Itinerary
The journey starts from the Edinburgh meeting point, heading to the first stop: The Kelpies. Standing 30 meters tall, they are the world's largest equine sculptures, depicting mythical creatures from Scottish folklore. Then, drive west towards the shores of beautiful Loch Lomond, one of Scotland's most stunning lochs. Here, you can enjoy an optional 1-hour cruise, taking in the magnificent views of the many islands in the loch and the surrounding mountains.
Continue through the Trossachs National Park, known as the "miniature Highlands" for its abundant lakes, mountains, and forests. Explore the area. Afterward, stop for lunch in a small village surrounded by beautiful scenery. After lunch, pass through the town of Callander and the medieval Doune Castle, arriving at Stirling Castle (optional visit). Stirling Castle is one of the most historically significant fortresses in Scotland, perched on volcanic rock with magnificent views of the surrounding area. If time permits, visit the castle to learn about the great achievements of important historical figures such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, and Mary Queen of Scots. Stirling Castle boasts many attractions worth seeing and experiencing. Afterward, depart for Edinburgh, concluding the trip.
