Tiger Kingdom [Pick-up & drop-off at the hotel|Great for families|Close Encounter With Tigers

Tiger Kingdom is located about 10 km from downtown Chiang Mai, serving as both a zoo and restaurant. Here you can have close encounters with tigers - petting adult tigers or cuddling newborn cubs just a few months old.

It's no exaggeration to say this is a paradise for feline lovers, featuring both large and small tigers. The big tigers look mighty and majestic, yet you can still take photos with them, while the little tigers are adorably cute and utterly charming. The caretakers provide meticulous care for these tigers, and their fur feels incredibly smooth to the touch.

Friendly reminder: The age and size of tigers vary each season. For your safety, different requirements apply to visitors. Please note the following is for reference only, and specific requirements are subject to on-site regulations.

1. Bookings for Little Tiger (5–7 months) require customers to be 110 cm or taller.

Guests booking the Little Tiger (10–12 months) must be at least 140 cm tall.

Guests booking the Tiger (1 year) must be at least 150 cm tall.

Guests booking the Big Tiger (2 years) must be over 16 years old and taller than 160 cm.

5. Each tiger interaction lasts 10 minutes.

6. People requiring wheelchairs or crutches are not allowed in the enclosure.

7. Travelers must be in good health and able to quickly squat/kneel and stand up without assistance.

After entering the park, you can first walk around several tiger enclosures to observe the tigers pacing inside. There are approximately 30+ tigers here. Before approaching them, you'll need to wash your hands and change into slippers provided by the tiger park for hygiene purposes. Remember to stay quiet during the observation—avoid making loud noises or provoking the animals. Once everything is prepared, you can follow the trainers for a close-up encounter with the tigers!

Due to their nature, tigers need to sleep for 18 hours a day, so you might often find them napping during your visit. This is actually a great opportunity to observe their adorable sleeping poses~ The cubs are more active and allow closer interactions—you can play with them, take photos, and enjoy mutual cute moments together. By the way, their little paws are incredibly cute and super soft!
