Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, take a cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and visit the bustling Khari Baoli Spice Market, Asia's largest. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra (250 km / 5 hrs)
Drive to Agra and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal. Continue to the Agra Fort, a sprawling Mughal fortress with palaces, gardens, and river views. Evening free to explore Agra's local markets. Overnight in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Chand Baori (250 km / 6 hrs)
On the way to Jaipur, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's abandoned Mughal capital, to see Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Salim Chishti's Tomb, Diwan-e-Khas, and
Jodha Bai's Palace. Continue to Chand Baori, an 8th-century stepwell with 3,500 symmetrical steps. Evening free in Jaipur. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring Jaipur's highlights: Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop with stunning palaces and courtyards; Nahargarh Fort with city views; and Jaigarh Fort, home to the world's largest wheeled cannon. Visit the Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, and stop at the scenic Jal Mahal floating on Man Sagar Lake. Continue to the Albert Hall Museum and shop at Johri Bazaar, Jaipur's famous jewelry market. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur to Delhi (260 km / 5 hrs)
Return to Delhi and explore Red Fort, a UNESCO site built by Shah Jahan, and the towering Qutub Minar, India's tallest minaret. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 6: Delhi to Amritsar by Train – Wagah Border Ceremony
Board an early train to Amritsar with breakfast onboard. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, witness the dramatic Beating Retreat Ceremony at Wagah Border, the only open India–Pakistan land border. Later, visit the Golden Temple by night to witness the Palki Sahib Ceremony, where the holy Guru Granth Sahib is carried in a golden palanquin. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 7: Amritsar City Tour – Return Train to Delhi
Start with a guided visit to the Golden Temple, Sikhism's holiest shrine, and experience its serene atmosphere. Step inside the Langar Hall, the world's largest community kitchen, where volunteers serve free meals to thousands daily. Continue to Jallianwala Bagh, a poignant memorial of the 1919 massacre. Afternoon transfer to Amritsar station for the return train to Delhi. Evening arrival in Delhi with hotel transfer. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi Sightseeing & Departure
Explore Delhi's highlights: the India Gate, a war memorial; Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques; Humayun's Tomb, a Mughal masterpiece; and the lotus-shaped Lotus Temple, symbol of unity and peace. End the day at Connaught Place, Delhi's bustling hub of shops and cafés. In the evening, drop at Delhi Airport or your desired location, marking the end of your tour.
