I booked a day tour from New Delhi to the Taj Mahal through Ctrip. The tour included a car, driver, and guide for the two of us, and entrance fees and lunch. The outbound journey took three hours, and the return trip, including airport transfer, took four hours. Since we had an evening flight, we only visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, skipping the smaller Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was truly breathtaking, a world-class heritage site. The white marble building is majestic and solemn, with exquisite carvings and gemstone inlays. Coupled with the ancient love story, it's poignant and romantic, definitely worth a visit. Agra Fort is a red fort, somewhat rustic compared to the Taj Mahal, but it offers a distant view of the Taj Mahal. I had some concerns before the trip, but communicating with customer service throughout the process alleviated many of them. The driver picked us up from the hotel on time and took us to the airport on time on the return trip, making it a very satisfying trip. The guide spoke Chinese, which was a pleasant surprise, as he had previously lived in China. He mentioned that not many Chinese people travel to India, and he hoped more Chinese compatriots would experience Indian culture. It's worth noting that you should bring some Indian rupees in cash, as ATMs in India do not accept Chinese credit cards.

Highly recommend. Imran and company were extremely responsive and kind. I appreciated the opportunity to meet him and hope to work together in future. Imran (owner) is also super well connected around town and known to be a good person (vs lots of shady people in delhi unfortunately) as coincidentally even our private car driver knew him well. The same day Taj Mahal tour was exceptionally well planned and ideal for travelers who value comfort and efficiency. I was picked up on time in a clean, air-conditioned car and driver was outstanding he had excellent knowledge of the routes and traffic conditions ensuring reaching every destination on time. Our guide in Agra was extremely professional and knowledgeable, providing detailed historical insights while also allowing us to enjoy the monument at our own pace. The Taj Mahal itself was beyond words—elegant, peaceful, and awe-inspiring. Special arrangements such as skip-the-line tickets saved us a lot of time, and the lunch at a premium restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The visit to Agra Fort added depth to the experience and offered fantastic photo opportunities. Overall, this was a luxury same day tour done right. Everything ran on schedule, and we returned to Delhi in the evening feeling satisfied and enriched. Excellent service from start to finish.

Everything went perfectly! For the price, I got a personalized trip from Delhi to Agra in an air-conditioned vehicle with stops upon request, along with a personal guide. Raj, the guide, was very positive and didn't expect him to speak Russian like a native, but that actually added to the experience. The guide himself is a local, from Agra, so he can share a lot about the city's life and history beyond the tour. Don't forget to leave a tip.

Booking this tour by superfast train (Gatimaan Express) was a fantastic decision and truly the most comfortable way to travel from Delhi to Agra. The train ride was smooth, with a delicious breakfast served on board. The coordination was flawless from start to finish; our driver in Delhi was punctual and helped us to the station, and upon arrival in Agra, our driver dilbagh were waiting for us right at the platform for a VIP welcome. Having a private car in Agra allowed us to explore at our own pace, and hilal was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great history and taking perfect photos at the Taj Mahal. After a wonderful lunch and a visit to Agra Fort, we were dropped back for a relaxing train journey home with dinner included. This tour perfectly combines the speed of the train with the luxury of a private car HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!


