Our guide Dionysis was very helpful and warm-hearted! He was able to adapt to many of our 'personalized' activities such as luggage storage and drop-off at port instead of our hotel He was also very professional, knowing the weather well so that we set off for the Balos when it was still slightly raining (and hence avoided groups of other tourists), but when we reached it was all cleared and the view was beautiful. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot with us about Crete's history★

My two friends and I went on the most wonderful jeep tour today to the Balos Lagoon, with Vasilis as our driver/guide. He was so generous and caring and super attentive and his mother sent for us a generous bag full of goodies to picnic. Thank you say very much for a magical day. Most highly recommend!! And yes, Balos lagoon is exquisite.★

We were on a catamaran with about twenty people and four crew members. Both islands were magnificent. Since we arrived in Balos at 10:00 AM, we were practically alone, which made the experience even more special. Judging by the size of the ferry that arrived just as we were leaving, it must have been less pleasant later on… The crew was incredibly attentive, frequently asking if we needed anything, and the food was excellent! In short, the day was perfect!★
