The service was excellent, and despite being only 19 years old, my guide provided wonderful assistance and motivation.
Keep in mind that this hike is suitable only for those who are physically fit. After just two hours into the hike, I realized it was more challenging than expected. Ideally, completing the trek over a period of two days would be preferable. During my ascent, I spent 6 strenuous hours on the trail and four coming down.★

Breathtaking views all around even with wet rice fields. Very kind and knowledgeable local guide who shared many insights into her life and the life of villagers. Yummy lunch on the last stop. Was really great to be able to do a one day trek to enjoy other aspects of Sa Pa on our other days. Appropriate footwear with good grip, and care along the path is recommended.★

She provided very detailed and insightful information about Cat Cat Village, explaining the history, culture, and traditions in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. Her knowledge truly enhanced our appreciation of the place. Throughout the entire journey, Cha was incredibly supportive, attentive, and helpful. She made sure everyone was comfortable, answered all our questions patiently, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We had the tour with Mu and she was an awesome guide. Explained a lot about the life in the villages, the dying techniques and rice harvesting. Very good English and very friendly. Unfortunately weather was really bad, but still a good experience.
