Reviews: Maui: Sunset & Dinner Tour to Haleakala National Park

Great tour. The sandwich and salad were delicious. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. The tour bus takes you to the lower of the two summit parking lots. There's a restroom there. As an older German with limited English skills, I sometimes struggled to understand the Hawaiian English spoken on the bus, so I didn't catch all the information during the ride. However, the guide was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.

A tour of Haleakala is a must when visiting Maui. It's no wonder this volcano is sacred to the Hawaiians. The view above the clouds at over 3,000 meters is unique. On our tour, we were able to witness not only the sunset but also the 'rising' of the stars, which was truly magnificent due to the lack of light pollution in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Martin

Wendell was absolutely amazing!! I enjoyed every moment listening to his stories and cultural explanations. He's an impeccable driver. My colleagues and I were able to see every site on the list and take in the beautiful sights. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone looking to enjoy Haleakala and Maui.

We enjoyed every moment of this tour. Noki I am not sure how he spells his name was kind and made sure we all had some laughs along the walk.

What a great tour! Uncle Joey was our guide and gave us up close views and great information on all the stuff we saw. From the edge of the “new” lava flow, the surrounding islands, and the wildlife. Very informative. We also were very lucky and saw a pod of spinner dolphins, several humpbacks, turtles, eels, and octopus! We checked all the boxes. The tour seemed kinda pricey when booked, but when we were done it was worth every penny. Such a great day!
