Waterproof shoes are recommended, as your feet will likely get wet. Suitable for participants with basic fitness, the hike takes about 2 hours.
Public restrooms are available in Firgas and at the Ecofinca Ventana Verde. Additional facilities, including public toilets and restaurants, are available at El Puertillo. Restrooms are not available along the trail.
