The Florida Aquarium is conveniently located in downtown Tampa, Florida along the free streetcar route and between 2 cruise ship terminals. There is easy access to Tampa's award-winning Riverwalk, historic Ybor City, Sparkman Wharf, restaurants and more.
More than a fun attraction, The Florida Aquarium is working to protect and restore our blue planet. Admission ticket sales help educate visiting students, provide world-class care to animal ambassadors, rehabilitate rescued sea turtles, and advance scientific research to save the Florida coral reef tract. As a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Aquarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for maintaining high standards in animal welfare, veterinary care, conservation and education among other requirements.
