More ways to explore Canada this summer, made possible by the Government of Canada. From June 20 to September 2, 2025, young people can enjoy discounted general admission to national museums through the Canada Strong Pass initiative.
Free general admission for children and youth aged 17 and under
50% off general admission fees for young adults aged 18 to 24
(Proof of age may be required. Does not apply to group bookings, summer camps, or birthday parties.)
• Museum is open 7 days a week - closed Christmas Day
• Parking is available onsite at a cost
• Children 12 years of age and above can visit the Museum by themselves.
• Children under 12 years of age need an adult escort.
• Courtesy wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers are offered at the Information desk and subject to availability.
• Photography is permitted inside the Museum, except in the special exhibition galleries or otherwise signposted.
