We had a great day on this tour, our guide was great fun and very well informed. It was a busy day starting with a minibus out to the Douro, with amazing views of the valley, onto the boat through the valley which was accompanied by sparkling wine and blankets to keep warm followed by a very comprehensive and generous tour of the Croft winery. We then enjoyed a wholesome lunch, even a Birthday cake and candles for one of our party and then onto the train for more beautiful views of the Douro. We would definitely recommend this trip.

Miguel was an excellent tour guide and answered any questions that may have come up. What was even better is he had a mixed group with English and Spanish and did an awesome switching between the 2 languages. Sheila was an excellent driver and was able to navigate some very tight spots with no difficulty. I would highly recommend these 2 if able to request Tour Guide and Driver combo.

All places we visited where extremely enjoyable. Tour leader (Jose) was well informative, safe driver, advise spot-on such as restaurants, when best time to visit attractions to avoid long queues. Even managed to find time to introduce us to different types of Portuguese music

Carlos is an excellent guide. He was also warm, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Carlos was also super knowledgeable and informative which added so much value to the experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide for the tour.

Our guide Cristian was fantastic. Sooo knowledgeable and easy to understand. He told us so much information about where we were travelling and the history. The time on the road passed by quickly. Santiago was amazing, the mass very moving. so happy I booked this trip. Thanks Cristian for looking after us so well.
