Itinerary
Take a full-day trip from Tbilisi to the stunning mountain town of Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), exploring some of Georgia's most scenic and historic landmarks along the way. Your journey begins with a stop at the Zhinvali Water Reservoir, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, followed by a visit to the medieval Ananuri Fortress, perched above the Aragvi River. Next, enjoy a traditional Georgian lunch in the charming village of Pasanauri, famous for its khinkali dumplings.

In the afternoon, head toward the ski resort town of Gudauri, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views from the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument. Finally, arrive in Stepantsminda, the municipal center of Kazbegi, where you can take an optional 4x4 jeep tour (approximately 20 GEL per person) up to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, dramatically set against the backdrop of Mount Kazbek. This unforgettable journey combines nature, culture, and adventure—all in one day.
