Itinerary
Embark on a full-day safari to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and see a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and wildebeest.

After being picked up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha, drive to Tarangire National Park. Admire the park's varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.

During the dry season, from July to October, the Tarangire River becomes the lifeblood of the park. As the only source of water, it draws animals from surrounding regions, creating a spectacular display of wildlife.
Encounter majestic lions, towering giraffes, powerful buffaloes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The park is also home to various species of antelopes and gazelles, and if you're fortunate, you might even spot a python.

For bird enthusiasts, Tarangire is a paradise, especially during the dry season, with over 550 species recorded, including the impressive Masai Ostrich, the world's largest bird. Around midday, pause at a scenic picnic spot to enjoy your lunch before continuing your wildlife adventure.

As the day draws to a close, be driven back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha, carrying with you the memories of an unforgettable safari experience.
