I recieved a text the day before saying it's been cancelled due to car breakdown and would I do following day. I said I couldn't so they found another vehicle. That was the only negative. The whole day was so much fun and sometimes it's the people you're with. There was never an empty glass or empty plate - it would always be topped up. I would say it was my fav part of my visit to Porto. I took the 1200 start. My biggest disappointment was when we were driving along the winding roads overlooking the vineyards, we never pulled over at viewpoints to allow for a photo - I never asked as I thought it would happen at some point, but alas it was never the plan. If you do this tour, insist you pull over.

During our stay in Porto, we wondered over to Gaia, took the gondola down and ended up in WOW, it did not disappoint! We purchased the daily pass and made the most use costing 5 museums over the afternoon. We saw Planet Cork, Wine Experience, the Chocolate Story, Pink Palace and the history of Porto! The staff throughout the whole place were very pleasant, answered all our questions. These are all self guided tours. Planet cork was amazing, didn't realize how much you could do with this. The wine experience tour was just as good so much info on wine. With a tasting at the end by Joao who was also great! The Chocolate Story was next and we had a great time enjoying chocolate from all the different stations and learning of its long history! again, the staff was awesome! The pink palace was really fun and definitely a instragram worthy opportunity at every turn! And finally the history of Porto! If you're looking for a great experience for wine, history and fun visit WOW!!

I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.

We booked this trip for my 45th birthday and it was truly incredible. I kept having to pinch myself. Everything was so so beautiful and the settings were jaw dropping. I can’t recommend this trip enough. Both informative but also fun. Everything was so well organised and our guide Sara was incredible! We loved our lunch under the vine leaves overlooking the vineyards with scenery for days. We went with such a lovely group of people and I loved that we all sat together at lunch and got to know each other. The boat trip was also a highlight. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon!
