This was the highlight of our trip to Dunedin. What a spectacular place to explore. Our kids enjoyed climbing to the top of the castle and even took a liking to learn about the history behind this spectacular castle. You really get a feel for what it would have been back then. We unfortunately didn’t get to experience the cafe there as we were limited to time with our travel plans and therefore I can’t speak for the food, but we walked through the cafe and the setting was amazing. The gardens are well maintained and we loved the variety of plants and sculptures. Would highly recommend a day trip here.★

The route was well planned, with interesting stops. The only thing I didn't like was that the guide and driver were the same person. At times, it was difficult for him to both drive and tell the story, even though he tried. The bus was large, but we managed to see everything, but we didn't get much information.★

Toured in a small van to private farm on Otago Peninsula. Our guide Paula was friendly and kind and knows everything about penguins! We visited the fur seal colony and saw sea lions on the beach. Also lots of sheep and lambs, and Paula pointed out the native birds. The landscape is stunningly beautiful. We had a great time.★
