Product details

Learn about the eerie luminiscence produced by swarms of fireflies hidden among the leaves of molave trees in Siquijor, often known as “the Island of Fire,” a mythical island paradise. You can travel directly to the capital city of Siquijor in 40 minutes by ferry from Dumaguete. Before visiting the century-old Balate Tree in Lazi, your island journey starts with a tour of the St. Francis of Assisi Bell Tower and San Juan de Capilay spring. We'll be awed by the century-old St. Isidore Labradore Church and Convent in the medieval town of Lazi. For the fit and daring, we descend more than 300 steps to swim in the Cambugahay Falls, a three-tiered waterfall. We then make our way to Triad for lunch while taking in the expansive views of Siquijor. Around mid-afternoon, return to the dock to catch the ferry back to Dumaguete.
