Reviews: Suwon Hwaseong, Gwangmyeong Cave, & Starfield Library Trip

Phillip was hilarious - Personally I loved this trip as we got to see several major sites but also learn so much more about South Korea’s deep history. My husband is a history buff and really got immersed in the cave - it was nothing like we’ve ever experienced before. I also loved the fact we got to see the infamous Starfield Library in Suwon - it was a beautiful end and the overall shopping centre is magnificent.

I really enjoyed this tour! I was traveling solo, and it turned out to be such a fun experience. Lynn was an amazing guide—her English was great, she helped me take photos, and she had such a warm, bubbly personality. She really knew her stuff and made the whole day enjoyable. I also got picked up right from my hotel, which was super convenient. After the tour, she even showed me around the popular Myeong-dong shopping street. It was the perfect way to start my trip in Seoul!
Reviews: Elysian Gangchon Winter Ski Resort + Eobi Ice Valley Day Tour from Seoul (With Basic Lesson and Clothes Rental)
Guest User2026-02-12
Overall, it was a lot of fun, but traffic jams and waiting for other guests to arrive late could delay the trip. The Fish Fly Valley stop was rather boring; I wish they could remove it and go straight to skiing. However, because they offer separate transportation options, it's actually quite suitable for groups, allowing for different needs and convenient meeting points at the ski resort – that's great. The guides and instructors were very nice. The food at the ski resort was expensive and not very good; I recommend buying some food from the GS store next door when you rent your ski clothes beforehand – it'll be great!

It was truly engaging and educational. It was worth every money spent. I learnt a lot and the guide Anna and Kenny were very professional and helpful. It’s a tour I would recommend for everyone coming to South Korea.
Reviews: Vivaldi Park Ski & Snowyland One Day Self Guided Tour (Shuttle from Seoul)

It was an amazing experience! Our guide — a fresh-faced young man in an orange shirt (I can’t remember his name) — spoke excellent English. When he realized we weren’t very fluent, he slowed down to make sure we understood. As complete beginners, we kept falling and ended up sore all over. And of course — if you fall, you have to get up by yourself… because people there are impressively cold-hearted. No one is going to help you up — not even a hand, not even eye contact. Truly builds character. 🥲
