Our tour guide Arafat (J93) did a great job explaining about the itinerary and Hokkaido in general. If you are traveling with kids, the time alloted for the zoo is not enough. Too bad the penguin walk season has not started. Blue pond became solid white because of the snow. Falls was breathtaking. Nigle terrace was just too crowded.★

Most of the itinerary was followed. Quite compacted since the sun sets earlier in winter. Went Asahiyama Zoo, the poplar tree "Ken & Mary", Snowmobile at Shikisai-no-oka and lastly Takushinkan Gallery (not Ningle Terrace). The biggest disappointment was missing out on Ningle Terrace which was the highlight of why I wanted to take this tour. However, tour did indicate that if traffic controls are in place, they will skip it. Bus stopped a few times for rest and toilet breaks during the 2-plus hour journey from Sapporo and back to Sapporo. Tour guide, Tenzo, spoke in English and Chinese to intro us to the region - food wise and places to go. Overall, it was a good tour for those who don't drive.★

Our tour guide, Eric, was friendly and approachable, providing a lively and interactive itinerary. He also offered helpful reminders when getting on and off the bus, such as meeting times and must-eat and must-buy items. The whole trip was very relaxing. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable circumstances, Furano and Miei are really far apart, and my butt was a bit sore from the long bus ride. I also recommend visiting during the flower season; you'll see why in the pictures 🥴
