We're not usually fans of staged tourist events. So we were all the more surprised by how authentic and interesting the evening was. The Maori (even though they were obviously performing their set program) were very convincing, and you really learn a lot about their customs and history. Everything comes across as very genuine. The food is delicious, even if the preparation in the earth oven seems unusual. We had two young people in their twenties with us, and they all agreed: It was worth it!★

Our tour guide was very informative and passionate about what she did. We learnt a lot about the Māori culture and enjoyed seeing the beautiful geothermal landscape in Te Puia. Our kids also loved seeing the baby Kiwi on site. The whole attraction was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend visiting this place.★

I was able to see the waterfall up close and experience the volume of water. I was seated near the front, so I got quite wet, but the weather was good and I was able to dry quickly even without a swimsuit. You don't need a hat, but if you do, make sure to attach a string. It was an incredibly fun and unforgettable experience in New Zealand!
