▲ Qianling Mausoleum, located in Qian County, Shaanxi, is the joint tomb of Emperor Gaozong and Empress Wu Zetian—the only shared imperial burial in Chinese history. Built in 684 AD, it features grand stone carvings like the "Winged Horse" and the famous "Wordless Stele", symbolizing Wu Zetian's controversial reign. Unlike other Tang tombs, it remains unlooted, preserving its original splendor.

▲ Hanyangling, the tomb of Emperor Jing of Han and his empress, showcases Western Han burial customs. Discovered in 1990, its underground pits contain thousands of miniature terracotta figures, chariots, and animals, depicting imperial life. The "South Gate Ruins" feature China's earliest triple-arched gate, while the "Luo Jing Stone" is the world's oldest surveying marker.
