I was extremely satisfied with this day trip. I took my mother on a local day tour, which was full of foreigners. Our guide was a handsome local man named Martin. He was fluent in English and Mandarin, knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to answer any questions. He was the best tour guide I've ever had in Hong Kong! I highly recommend him.
Reviews: Flexible Small Group: Singapore Lion City Tour - Explore 12 Major Landmarks in One Day
Guest User2026-02-14
Our driver and guide, Mr. Zhong, led the entire tour. There were 11 of us in the car, and he spoke Mandarin with a very gentle voice. The itinerary started at 10:00 AM and we returned to our hotel around 8:30 PM. The meeting point was on the first floor of the hotel, just steps from the subway station, which was very convenient. Mr. Zhong drove and gave brief explanations of the attractions and important information in the car. You could ask questions at any time, but he wouldn't personally take you to each attraction and provide commentary. It was essentially a private tour. The car had comfortable air conditioning. It's advisable to bring a light jacket, as you might need one in places like shopping malls.
Reviews: [Flexible Small Group] One-Day Tour to Top Zoos, Botanical Gardens & Prestigious Universities
Guest User2026-02-15
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The driver was very nice and introduced us to a lot about Singapore's history and current situation, while also taking good care of the children. The botanical gardens and zoo were particularly enjoyable for the kids. The visit to the National University of Singapore (NUS) was also excellent, with a student guide providing a very detailed explanation and giving us a good understanding of the university. It was a very satisfying trip, especially the National Botanical Gardens, which felt like a huge energy field. The tropical plants were incredibly tall, and sitting on the lawn allowed us to forget all our worries. We even encountered an otter at the lake; it climbed out of the water and slowly walked away – it was absolutely adorable. This is a perfect trip for children.
Reviews: Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore
Guest User2026-01-12
A wonderful, slightly damp tour of downtown Singapore with Holden and about a dozen other folks from Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and China. We rode past a whole bunch of sights (too many to remember) including the Singapore Flyer, the F1 pit lane buildings, the Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, the Supreme Court, the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, a Hawker center that is next to a road that is closed down at night because of the Satay lines, and the Sultan Mosque. We stopped for restrooms and drinks a couple of places and when we were in the little India area, we had Samosas and sugar cane drinks with ice. Very refreshing. Holden was a great tour guide and answered many questions with good humor and a smile. Pretty much anyone who can ride a bike can do this tour. It’s very flat and even though Singapore nearly nothing in the way of separated bike infrastructure, we had no issues just riding slowly on the sidewalk (pavement). Pedestrians are very accommodating.
