Details: At the park you will find several more miles of paved lakefront trails, a pavilion in the middle of the lake that you can ride out to for some amazing views of the lake, a splash pad, a boat marina, a fishing pier, a restaurant, a sandy beach, volleyball nets, a concession stand, several restrooms, plus lots of picnic tables and benches throughout the park. The large basket on the back of the trike is great for carrying a picnic basket. Some have even brought their small dogs in pet carriers that fit in the basket.
You will be sure to spot even more Florida wildlife on this part of the ride as alligators and turtles are seen quite often sunning themselves at the lakefront ponds. Watch for the black squirrels, rabbits and the families of ducks seen frequently along the lakefront. Stop at one of the many shady spots along the trail to sit, relax and experience nature up close.
