Depart from Chengdu: Wolong Shenshuping Base of Giant Pandas + Yingxiu Epicenter Site + Dujiangyan attraction

Depart Chengdu early this morning and head to the Shenshuping Base for Giant Pandas in Wolong. This is the panda's native habitat, where you can get up close and personal with over 70 giant pandas, grazing on bamboo and playing with their charming demeanor.

In the afternoon, we went to the Yingxiu earthquake epicenter. The ruins of Xuankou Middle School were heartbreaking. It reminded us of the 2008 disaster and paid tribute to the dead.

Arrive at the Dujiangyan attraction in the evening and witness the Fish Mouth Water Diversion and Feishayan Flood Discharge, appreciating the wisdom of this 2,000-year-old hydraulic engineering project. This full-day experience will allow you to experience the adorable pandas, the pain of history, and the ingenuity of the ancients.
