The trip was good, the staffs on the island are friendly, clear water so can see fews turtles. When we there the water so cold so we snorkeling just a shot time but we enjoyed it.
Reviews: Cairns Sunlover Fitzroy Island 1-day tour [Optional snorkeling/lunch | Emerald Island]

Easy to book with lots of options to suit your needs. We chose the transfer and snorkelling gear package. Just be mindful that you mind have to pick up the gear from other boat before heading to the one that will take you to the island. If you have a big family and kids, it might be problematic to take all of this stuff with you and walk to the boat. The boat was packed and we struggled to find a place to sit with all of this stuff, and had to seat separately. Apart from that the experience was great, the island is beautiful and you can see the reef and all the sea life. The beach itself is covered in washed away corals, which is beautiful but you might need coral shoes or crocs to make it easier to walk. You can also hike up the mountain or Nudey beach and the view and water is stunning. The food and water are pricey but you take take it with you from land.
Reviews: Cairns Big Cat Green Island & Great Barrier Reef cruise Half-Day Tour [1-day tour/Short Itinerary/Snorkeling & Glass Snorkeling]

As soon as we boarded the boat, a handsome young man greeted us and introduced the facilities and activities on board. Seeing that my mother was older, he told us which seats in the cabin were comfortable and less prone to motion sickness. Once on the island, it truly lived up to the description—a small, green island, but with everything you'd expect. We strolled along the beach, watching young people snorkel, and my mother was especially delighted, like a child, taking a glass-bottom boat tour to see the coral and fish. It was fantastic.
Reviews: Cairns: Green Island Snorkelling or Glass Bottom Boat
Guest User2025-12-18
This island is surrounded by a mystical ocean blue and emerald green sea. It's perfect for snorkeling. There are also other activities like a glass-bottom boat and a crocodile park, so you can enjoy yourself until the return boat. What needs improvement: There are countless tour companies, and it's hard to know which boat is with the tour company you booked with. Also, there are two mooring locations at the pier, and you don't know which one you'll be arriving at until you arrive.
