A perfect experience! I have to give a huge shout-out to Guide Wang's thoughtful service! This trip to Huizhou completely exceeded my expectations, all thanks to Guide Wang's meticulous planning! In the afternoon, I was worried about the return journey from Qiyun Mountain, but Guide Wang specially arranged for the driver to take a longer route to take us. The vibrant autumn scenery of Tachuan along the way was a delightful surprise, every snapshot a masterpiece. The itinerary in Hongcun was also perfectly planned. Following Guide Wang, we not only appreciated the beauty of the black tiles and white walls of Hui-style architecture but also deeply experienced the local customs and vibrant atmosphere. Even more surprising was the incredibly authentic Chinese food Guide Wang recommended; every dish was a delight, and he even gave super practical advice on buying local specialties, ensuring we didn't make any bad choices. There were no hidden tricks, only genuine help. Such a good tour guide is so rare! I definitely want to travel with Guide Wang again next time I'm in Huizhou!

Guide Hu was very professional. He demonstrated an understanding of the cultural heritage of this scholarly family and was amazed by the carved beams and painted rafters of the old houses and courtyards. These historical and cultural villages would be a rushed experience without a guide. The itinerary was well-planned; after Xidi, we even had a convenient stop at Yixian East Station – the timing was perfect. Thank you so much!

We visited in November on a weekday. Lesser crowd and the weather was perfect, sunny between 10°C & 15°C. Our tour came with a guide who got us the tickets and planned the hiking routes, covering every "tourist-must-see" parts of the mountain. The buffet lunch recommended by the guide at ¥98/pax up on the mountains is a really good deal too. Huangshan is NO JOKE. The 8km up and down the steps lasted for almost 6 hours, excluding the one-way 20mins shuttle bus ride & one-way 10mins cable car ride. At the end of the tour our legs were not cooperative anymore. Besides the breathtaking views, it was also heartbreaking to see elderly potters carrying approximately 180 catties (about 108kg!) of goods up and down the mountains. They are literally breaking their backs 😭! Some even stopped and asked passers-by for water / food. Would forming a bucket brigade or a human chain be workable?
