The day with Sonja and her family was one of the most beautiful experiences of my travels. We were embraced by tradition and a love for Macedonian cooking. The surrounding area, where the class takes place, is a relaxing setting outside the city. The pick up from Ohrid city was well orchestrated and made for an easy trip. The food, the food, well, it was delicious and true Macedonian cooking, just like Baba made it. We were sent home with treats as we could not eat all the food we cooked. I highly recommend this experience for more than a delicious meal, a peek into the soul of this amazing country.

We got on a car at 0830 then we drove up to the mountain and finished our local breakfast. After that we headed to ohrid, we visited the castle, some churches, and finally the city center. The guide brought us to a good local restaurant at affordable price. He is very friendly and drove me directly to the bus station as it was raining.

A very pleasant day in the city of Ohrid. We strolled through the narrow streets of the city of 365 churches and had lunch by the lake. A visit not to be missed during a stay in Skopje. Tony, our guide, showed us the beauty of this city steeped in history.

The quad bike tour started off a bit slow, but for good reason: they explained clearly how the quads work and why we should take it easy at first, especially since you ride close to the mountainside. After that, it became much more enjoyable, with challenging sections and beautiful photo spots along the way. Back at the location, we were able to relax on the terrace and enjoy a stunning sunset. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Full day tour by car around the lake! Stops in several key sights and small towns. If you have one day to see this area, this tour is a great option. Tour guide was perfectly fluent in English and shared tons of detailed info. Since it's a private tour it would be cool if you had some choices since there is so much to do. Overall really recommend though.


