Reviews: Avignon: Historic District Guided Food & Wine Walking Tour
Guest User2025-12-01
Nastassja was our guide for this food and wine tour in Avignon, and she made the entire experience genuinely enjoyable. The pace was relaxed, the portions were generous, and you’ll be tasting a surprising variety of local specialties—so come hungry and maybe skip the tight jeans that day. She shared plenty of interesting history and context along the way, which helped us appreciate the city beyond the food itself. Avignon has so much to take in, and this tour was a great introduction. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially if you want a mix of local insight, regional flavors, and a fun walk through the historic center.

The trip was excellent. Our guide, Arnaud (sp?), prepared a nice picnic lunch for us to enjoy at Pont du Gard that was from local resources in his small village. It was a great way to see sites that are not easily reached by public transportation.
