I’m an avid traveller and this was easily one of the top three things I’ve ever experienced. The glacier was incredible. The staff and guide, Ruby, were so friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this experience enough.

OMG, this was amazing! it was the highlight of my whole NZ holiday & think you would be crazy to miss this experience. Why land on a glacier for 10 mins like other experiences & not get a chance to walk/hike around it & see every crevasse??? The whole team were very professional & i felt safe about the helicopter ride & the walk around the glacier at all times, you are provided with suitable clothing, boots, boot spikes, gloves, headgear etc. I went by myself as a 53yo woman in good condition. You are taken at a slow pace with a professional guide, you will walk or crawl through some ice caves but they change every day so you will see it fresh to the person the day before. I got back from this experience & felt the exhilaration of what i had just seen. i wanted to tell the world on what they are missing out on!

We had an awesome morning out on the lake with Pickles (and Oscar), he was welcoming from the start and was full of knowledge about the lake and surrounding area. We had the lake all to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the views as well as the laughs, stories and knowledge Pickles shared with us. We would all highly recommend a kayaking trip with the guys, it’s been one of our favourite activities of the trip! Thanks again Pickles and Oscar, from Lewis, Conn, Molly and Lexi!


