Reviews: Hokkaido Seasonal: Lake Toya & Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley
Guest User2026-02-12
Every location, every activity, every bit of information that our guide, Mr. Hong, shared made me feel like I was on a quality tour. The time spent at each location never felt too long nor too short. Mr. Hong was considerably knowledgeable about each location and very accommodating to everyones’ needs on the tour. The day went by so quickly with all the fun we were having! It was a real treat booking this tour because had my fiancé and I tried to visit these locations ourselves, we probably would not enjoy all the knowledge from the tour and would probably have great difficulty commuting to these places on our own (let alone in a single day!) I hope future visitors see this review and duly consider this tour for a great day trip in Hokkaido!

Reviews: Hokkaido Japan One-Day Tour from Sapporo: Shiroi Koibito Park, Otaru & Bibai Snow Land

A solo trip to Hokkaido can be absolutely amazing! This "Sapporo Shiroi Koibito + Otaru + Mipai Snow Park" tour, booked just for one person, was heavenly! ✅ Shiroi Koibito Park: The chocolate factory is like a fairytale castle. Stroll through the exhibits while enjoying the sweet aroma of cocoa, and you can even DIY your own chocolate 🍫. Perfect for making souvenirs – so impressive! ✅ Otaru Canal: The canal is covered in snow in winter, complete with retro gas lamps – so romantic you'd want to film a K-drama! ❄️ The glass shops and music box shops along the street are fantastic; even the little trinkets you pick up are incredibly exquisite. ✅ Mipai Snow Park: Kids from the south went wild! Sleds, ice slides, snowmobiles… so many activities you wouldn't want to leave. Who can understand the joy of rolling around in the snow! 💡 The amazing little details that enhance the experience ▫️Group tours are perfect for those with social anxiety; no need to wait for shared rides, and the schedule is flexible and not rushed. ▫️The itinerary is relaxed yet fulfilling, with ample time for photos and enjoyment at each attraction. For those of you wondering what to do in Hokkaido during winter, this is the perfect itinerary! You can feel completely at ease even when traveling alone.
Reviews: Hokkaido Winter Classic 1-day Tour: Asahiyama Zoo + Shirahige Waterfall + Shirogane Blue Pond (Aoiike) + Forest Elf Terrace

The itinerary was well-planned, and our tour guide, Bingbing, was incredibly kind. At the Asahikawa Zoo stop, she personally led us to the penguin parade area, where we found a great viewing spot. Along the way, she also recommended other attractions and local delicacies. The weather was fantastic today, and we visited all the attractions, plus the tour guide gave us 5 to 10 minutes more time than usual. We enjoyed local cuisine and bought some souvenirs we liked. So happy! 😃
Reviews: Hokkaido Lake Tōya Snowmobile + Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley + Lakeside Farm 1-day Tour
Guest User2026-02-08
I chose to visit Jigokudani (Hell Valley) as my last stop, then checked directly into Ryūnoya, a hot spring resort in Noboribetsu. I left my large luggage at my hotel in Sapporo and only brought a small suitcase to Noboribetsu, having informed customer service beforehand. They were wonderful; they left our luggage there for free. The tour guide was also very friendly and professional, and the entire itinerary was well-organized. The snowmobile ride at Lake Toya was amazing, the pie at Lake Hill was delicious, the lake view from the observation deck was beautiful, and the bear ranch was definitely worth seeing. Jigokudani was spectacular. Finally, the tour guide noticed that the bus from my hotel passed by and let us park there for free, so we didn't have to drag our luggage through Jigokudani. Thank you so much to the tour guide and driver! Overall, this tour was very worthwhile. The tour guide informed us of the pick-up location the night before, and the customer service was excellent and responded quickly. It was a very clear and helpful tour, highly recommended. Tour guide Xiaoyu was fantastic!

This trip was fantastic. First, our tour guide, Xiaoyu, was incredibly patient, helping every tourist who needed assistance. Throughout the trip, she tirelessly shared many interesting local history and cultural stories, which I, as a tourist, listened to attentively and found very helpful and informative. She also patiently guided us through the meeting points and ensured safety, providing excellent service. Second, the driver's skills were superb. Despite the challenging driving conditions in the icy and snowy conditions, he still managed to get everyone to our destination safely and on time. Thank you both for your hard work; the entire trip was excellent, and I would definitely choose Xiaoyu again next time.
