If participants have any illness or health condition that may affect the trip, they are obligated to inform the guide. This trip is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with back or neck pain.
Height restriction: Not permitted for those under 120cm
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance, as specified in your e-ticket information.
Meeting point transfers:
- It takes 4 hours to get from Tromso to Skjervøy
- Departure time: 05:15am
- Meeting point: Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromso, bus terminal (under the large gray port terminal next to Clarion Edge)
- Bus Terminal, Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø (Under grey big harbour terminal building next to Clarion Edge)
- Duration: about 12 hrs
- Return to Tromso time: around 5:30 PM
Make your own way (Skjervøy):
- Departure time: 09:20am
- Meeting point: Strandveien 70, Skjervøy, Explore 70
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours
- End time: Around 1:30 PM
Recommended items to bring:
- 2-3 layers of wool thermal clothing (base layer and mid layer)
- Warm hat and scarf for windproof and cold protection
- Spare dry clothes for the return trip (underwear may get wet from the waves)

Whale watching by catamaran (round-trip from Tromso)
- Age Information: Adults aged 16 and above pay adult price. Children aged 4–15 pay child price. Free for children under 4.
- Meeting point: At the pier by Nerstranda shopping center (Meet up at 8:10 AM at the pier by the Nerstranda shopping center).
- Departure time: 08:30/9:00 (The departure time may vary, please refer to your e-ticket for the exact time. Please gather at least 20 minutes prior to the time stated on your e-ticket.)
- Point of departure: Nerstrandakaia dock-Tromsø
- Arrive in Tromso after the tour: 16:30/17:00
- Whale watching experience duration: About 7-8 hours
- Special Note: Due to maritime regulations, after booking a cruise, you must complete online check-in by providing the traveler's date of birth, nationality, and gender. - Due to frequent tidal changes in Tromso, wheelchair and stroller users may experience some difficulties.
- No pets allowed
- Wear warm and comfortable clothes: warm jackets, hats, wool socks, and gloves/mittens
- You will not disembark during the trip. The duration of the cruise may vary depending on the whale's location.

Whale Watching on a Heated Boat (Small Group of 12 + Round-Trip from Tromso)
- Total itinerary duration: approximately 12 hours (about 8 hours round-trip drive + 3 hours whale watching cruise)
- Bring a camera and spare batteries for taking photos.
- You don't need to wear special suits for our covered boat rides. However, it's advisable to bring warm clothing for cold weather, just in case.
- Please listen carefully to the guide's safety instructions and guide.
- Not suitable for children under 6 and pregnant women

- Route Guide: The red bus (Arctic Route) will depart from the bus platform at Prostneset Bus Terminal (Samuel Arnesens Gate 5, Tromsø). The electronic display on the front of the bus will show "Whale Route Skjervøy." Upon arrival in Skjervøy, the bus will make two stops: At the first stop, look for the Skua flag where our guide will greet you and board the bus with you. The guide will then accompany you to the second stop (located near Maritim Hotel and Skjervøy Kystrutekai pier)—the boarding pier for Skua Nature Point is situated here.
