Host Introduction
Hello everyone, I am Pan Yichen, the host of Eatwith in Beijing. I am a scholar of incense culture and the manager of the Grand View Garden cultural section. My main job is the director of the Institute of Incense Culture of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences. I am the founder of the magazine "Incense". I have published books such as "Incense Life", "Pan Yichen Talks about Agarwood", and "Incense Matters". I like the culture of the Dream of the Red Chamber and have created a traditional culture experience base. I hope to spread the concept of Chinese traditional culture to more people through various food experiences related to "A Dream of Red Mansions", so that traditional culture can serve modern people and make Chinese culture sustainable!
Experience Introduction
Our experience is to make natural incense cards under the guidance of team members. You can choose the incense card mold you like and complete it under the guidance of professional teachers. Our incense materials use natural incense powder, which is a combination of 24 spices from the ancient recipe "Shimiao Pillow Top Incense". At the same time, you will also be given a Chinese style tassel lanyard as an incense card decoration. During the experience, our professional teachers will also introduce you to the wearing of incense cards, as well as its efficacy and application scenarios.
Venue Introduction
First there was Dream of the Red Chamber, then there was Grand View Garden. Our experience was conducted in Xue Baochai's courtyard - Hengwuyuan.
This is the first film and television shooting base in Chinese history. It was built specifically for the 1987 version of "Dream of Red Mansions" and perfectly presented that unsurpassed masterpiece.
Experience process
14:00 Our team will greet you at the west gate. You can wear Hanfu on your own or rent Hanfu on site (it is recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance);
Next, I will take you to visit the famous Grand View Garden and introduce you to the stories of each courtyard and its owner;
Then we will come to the East Wing of Hengwuyuan for the experience. We will take photos for you throughout the process to ensure that you can focus on completing your work;
We also thoughtfully provide you with a small gift box and a small bag for you to take away and share with your family and friends.
