We (2 of us) just spent a day with Federica visiting 6 of the 8 UNESCO monuments. We are experienced travelers and always like to hire guides to enhance our visits. Her expertise on the history and art of the monuments was outstanding, and she made the visit far more interesting. Aside from her knowledge, Federica was a pleasure to spend time with. We highly recommend Il Papavero. They were very easy to deal with over email planning our visit. Highly recommended.★

We are a group of 4 with two teen boys. We thought the food aspect of the tour would help them stay motivated through all of the art based stops - turns out they didn’t need it! Our guide Cinzia was engaging and fun. She included the boys in discussion and showed us all sorts of things we wouldn’t have seen on our own! She shared in a way that was interesting, accessible and engaging and led a lovely day. On top of that, the food was excellent! If you are thinking about booking- don’t hesitate!★

The exhibition is dedicated to Ravenna and its origins, spread across a single floor. It also covers the history of the sugar factory. There are also some interesting mosaics to see. The exhibition is designed so that those with disabilities can fully enjoy it.★
