Child: Height Under 1.5m
Senior: Age 65+
Children who are 150 cm or taller must purchase an adult ticket. (However, if they are 150 cm or taller but under 12 years old, they may purchase a child ticket, but must present identification at the Taiwan Railways ticket counter for verification.)
Children who are 115 cm or taller but under 150 cm must purchase a child ticket.
Children who are under 115 cm and under 6 years old can enter for free after presenting identification and passing verification.
How to use
Taiwan PASS
Requires APP Download for Use: This pass product must be redeemed and used via the Taiwan PASS APP.
Validity Period Description (listed in order of operation):
Activate Plan: You must complete plan activation by entering the "85-prefix serial number" from your order voucher into the APP within 1 year after purchasing the pass.
Example: If you purchase the Attractions Edition plan on 2025/1/1, you must complete plan activation in the APP before 2026/1/1 (APP screen will display the card at the top + product category list at the bottom).
Plan Validity Period (To facilitate early itinerary planning, the validity period varies **depending on whether the first redeemed item is "TRA"**):
1. If the first redeemed item is a "TRA Pass" physical ticket
After obtaining the TRA Pass physical ticket, travelers must use (ride, enter, or redeem a physical ticket for) at least 1 non-main transportation category item within 30 days. After this, all remaining items must be used within 7 days.
Example: If you redeem a "TRA Pass" physical ticket at one of the 66 designated TRA counters on 2025/1/3, you must go to Lion Travel - Taipei Main Station branch to redeem a physical card by showing the QR code in the APP before 2025/2/2. After this, the remaining items must be used at the location for riding, entering, or redeeming physical tickets by 2025/2/9 at the latest.
2. If the first redeemed item is NOT a TRA Pass physical ticket
After the first use (riding, entering, or redeeming a physical ticket), all remaining items must be used on-site within 7 days (including the first day of use).
Example: If the first item selected is "Taipei Fun Pass | Transit Unlimited 2-Day Pass", and you redeem the physical card by showing the QR code in the APP at Lion Travel - Taipei Main Station branch on 2025/1/3, all remaining items must be used on-site for riding, entering, or redeeming physical tickets by 2025/1/9 at the latest.
Change & cancellation policies
This product can be canceled anytime before redemption, activation, or reservation.
