If you know a little English, the overall experience is quite good.
The time spent at the volcano is relatively short, so whether or not to climb to the summit is something you should consider based on your physical condition.★

The service matched the description. We departed on time with a good driver who made a stop halfway up the climb to show us the Gulf of Naples. The time allotted was a bit short to complete part of the loop around the crater, as we had to be on schedule for the return trip, with a half-hour buffer to enjoy the scenery and take our time descending. The organizer should also warn that the meeting point on Via Roma is at least a 20-minute walk from the entrances and exits of the Pompeii site. A note on the booking confirmation would be appreciated.★

Fascinating. I've also been to Mount Etna. Big difference. Both are worth it. The local guide told me almost the same thing as the tour guide. It took too long for me. I wanted to experience the atmosphere of Vesuvius. So I didn't hear everything from the local guide.
