Valerie was fantastic. A great, knowledgeable guide whose stories brought the old town to life - from origins of the dukes and city to modern post cold war Munich, resurrection after WWII. The history of beer in the city, the tales of love and church building to Napolean, we covered it all in just a square kilometre. Highly recommended

If you don't have much time, you can easily visit several attractions in a short time, saving you the trouble of arranging transportation yourself. However, the attractions are just average, so it's just a way to kill time without much effort.

I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.
