Attractions and Activities: Praça Thomé de Souza (Ticket included) Here we are at the top of the hill, were the first Capital of Brazil was built. In this square we have the famous Lacerda Elevator from the 19th Century that connects the Lower and the High City. Rio Branco Palace that was the headquarters of the first Governor of Brazil, Thomé de Souza, the City Hall and the Casa de Camara where the municipal administration still works. We will start to explore the Historical Center Pelourinho by foot, visiting the Cathedral and São Francisco of Assis Convent & Church. We have time for street food or a restaurant.
