Great trip! Shoes and poles were available there, and helmets were also provided if you didn't have your own. The climb was uphill with several groups in the vehicles, but groups were formed for the climb. At least two guides per group, one in front and one in the back. The pace was slow enough, and everyone was well taken into account. The explanations were also excellent, and questions were answered thoroughly. The hike is quite challenging. We went to the north side and visited two craters. It's challenging, but so worth it!★

Our experience was wonderful! The setting certainly helped, because Sicily is spectacular, but the real difference was our guide. Santi was professional, yet he also managed to convey his passion for this land. The explanation was pleasant and easy to understand. We sampled some local products and drinks that our guide kindly offered. We were able to learn some of the technical terms needed to better understand this unique land, without becoming boring. Finally, we want to thank Sicily, a fantastic land, and especially Santi. See you on your next trip!
