You will  get close-up views of the Holy City's most famous and charming sights such as  Fort Sumter: One of Charleston's most popular landmarks, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, USS Yorktown: the famous World War II “Fighting Lady," Confederate and Union army Forts Moultrie and Johnson, St. Michael's Episcopal Church: A surviver of both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, whose steeple was painted black so as not to be an easy target, Stately homes on the Battery: Symbols of Southern elegance and perseverance.

Guests must check in with the customer service agents at our ticket kiosk located at the Charleston Maritime Center upon arrival. Please arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of scheduled tour time. Departure point: Charleston Maritime Center, 10 Wharfside Street, Charleston, SC 29401
 
PLEASE NOTE
 
There is no parking at the Charleston Maritime Center. The closest parking to the Maritime Center will be in the SC Aquarium Parking Garage located at 24 Calhoun Street, just before the intersection of Concord Street. The Maritime Center is a short walk down Concord Street to Inspection Street and then towards the water. You will see the Carolina Belle as soon as you get past the International African American Museum and behind The Charleston Maritime Center. We highly encourage ride share through Uber or Lyft, which is readily available downtown or take a Bike Taxi. There is also a free downtown shuttle provided through Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA). This shuttle is called the DASH and the 210 route comes to the Aquarium. See this link for a full route schedule https://www.ridecarta.com/route/210-college-charleston-aquarium-shuttle-dash/ If you wish to utilize the DASH, there is ample parking at the Charleston Visitors Center Garage, 73 Mary Street, Charleston, SC 29403. Next door to the Visitors Center.

There is a flat pier out to the boat and the boarding ramp is about 30 feet long. Travelers will board on the top deck and there are stairs to the lower level. Restrooms are located on the top deck.
