Meet at meeting point: The Estate is 8km from Madikeri. Take the Madikeri - Mangalore highway and travel for 5 km. Upon arrival at a T-Junction (Katekeri Junction), take the left turn and travel for another 3 km. The Estate will be on the left hand. There are boards at the junction and at the estate to identify the route.Attractions and Activities: Mercara Gold Estate Coffee Plantation (Free entry) The coffee and spice estate tour at Mercara Gold Estate is a comprehensive and enlightening guided visit of the plantation. Mercara Gold Estate also has a coffee processing and roasting facility. It is a walking tour and the guide will explain about the various crops and processes.
