We have just returned from the full day Soweto Tour including lunch and the Apartheid Museum. Whereas I always write reviews when something was great, I do take my time to do so. Not this time- I actually cannot wait to write this review, because we (family of five with three teenagers!) LOVED this tour. Our tour guide Khutso was not only very knowledgeable, he also was super friendly, entertaining, enthusiastic and very engaging. He accommodated all the photo wishes. Please do this tour and of you can go with Khutso, you will love it even more. We also like to mention Simon, the driver, who did a marvelous job and Hope, who was the local guide within the poorer part of Soweto (great way to support! Loved the visit to the kindergarten!!!). Strongly recommend Khutso and this tour!

We enjoyed a very comprehensive tour of Soweto and Johannesburg. Our guide Oupa was very informative and filled our minds with some fantastic facts and history about South Africa. All the main areas are covered in the tour, you won’t miss anything! Oupa was very flexible and covered all our requests and was an encyclopaedia of knowledge. We learnt so much. Thank you Oupa. Mo was our excellent guide for this outstanding J-burg tour. He could not have been more kind, knowledgeable and helpful. All the places we visited were places I’ve wanted to visit for years. Mo made sure we got the most out of it all. It was a long and unforgettable experience, and having a local share his insight made it mean so much more. I recommend this tour 100%!

Very pleased with our trip and having Jacques as our guide. A must do trip when in Johannesburg or Pretoria. Saw and learned so much about the origins of humanity, geology and history of the region. When we arrived at Maropeng, the staff welcomed us home to where the human species originated. Jacques was an exceptional guide! He was very patient in answering our many questions and took time to comment on the history and sights along our route. He could easily converse on numerous topics related to our trip an South Africa. We appreciated his flexibility to ensure we got everything we wanted out of our trip.


