Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable local guide. Trekking in the jungle was a bit challenging. Meeting the natives was very interesting, and the boat ride was fun. Worth the money.

My expectations for the jungle were perhaps a bit higher than what I saw. We didn't encounter any animals, only insects. Our guide explained many plants and their properties to us and I really liked that. Also, the meeting with the Batek people who showed us their martial qualities, etc. was amazing. Finally, the walk on the river was unexpectedly nice... I think we did a lot of things and with the transportation, the price was probably justified, but I probably expected to encounter animals that I didn't see...

Overall the guide and driver wwre very punctual and helpful with explaining everything and where everything is. The only issue we personally had was during pick up we had to wait really long because the other parties joining were late. We personally feel that if they arent down on time wait for 5 minutes and then leave since the people who are already in the bus/van were waiting. We were picked up around 10:20am and we were only able to depart to genting after picking three parties and waiting for them around 11:45am close to 12pm.

We left late. The tour guide told us a few basic things in the first half of the journey. It's worth stopping at the first stop. It's a magical place. It's worth getting off on the way back. The rest are just shops running on tourists' money.


